Solo

since 2005 I work with the loop machine.

I discovered this form in the duo work with the guitarist Norbert Scholly, who worked with electronics and encouraged me to explore the possibilities of the loop machine. Since then, I have been using the instrument for my solo projects, mostly designing my own compositions and developing my own „language of sound“. In doing so, I move through the various sound spaces, layers and colours. I mix and match strings, sounds and rhythms on top of each other, develop them into wide-ranging sound images and moods.
